6/14/2010: XPrad version 2 is now available for download. A few bugs have been fixed in the new version. In addition, a web extension have been implemented, such that teaching files in the personal database can be submitted to a web interface, which can be used as an institutional teaching file database. 1/23/2010: New function added: XPrad now can take a radiology report and parse the contents and fill the fields automatically. To do this, you simply click "Parse Report" button on the CaseBuilder form and copy/paste your radiology report into the form. XPrad will extract the corresponding data and fill the CaseBuilder form for you. The recognized fields include: Chief Complaint, History, Age, Gender, Findings, Diagnosis, Differential Diagnosis, Discussion. The age and gender in the history can be extracted if you have something like "70-year-old man" or "70 y/o male" or "70 yo female", etc. in the history section. The unrecognized fields will be placed under Discussion. The Exam/technique section will be implemented in the future release.
